Class Details

Our bakery is renowned for producing the most beautiful and delicious hand-crafted patisserie.

On this course you will learn to make the perfect sweet pastry which you will use to line a range of different sized baking foils. From these pastry bases you will then go on to make Tarte au Citron, Tarte au Chocolate, Fruit Tart, Raspberry Frangipane and Strawberry Frangipane. You will learn to make creme patisserie to fill your fruit tarts and different finishing techniques before boxing up your delightful pieces ready to take home (we provide the boxes).

Don’t be put off if you are a novice, this course is suitable for all skill levels. All the recipes used on the course are provided for you to take home.

You will also take home everything you make – 4 boxes full, so don’t forget to invite all your friends for afternoon tea!

The course includes coffee or tea on arrival.

    Oh Wow, this course is just amazing. Paul is such a great teacher and I can’t believe how many amazing tarts I came home with on the Patisserie course. There were 6 of us, a perfect number to be quite intimate and have a lot of time to really learn the ropes. We made a sweet pastry but also talked a lot about other methods of cake making, so a few hints and tips there, and once our pastry bases were cooked or part cooked, we made the fillings – so many different ones 🙂 Lemon, chocolate, creme anglaise, frangipan, and then once these were made, we topped them off with all manner of ingredients. Definitely no scrimping, there was so much available. Tea and coffee and soft drinks on hand too thanks to Mae and everyone had a fantastic time. Came home with 10 tarts perfectly wrapped as you would expect if you bought them from Cinnamon Square. thank you so much, will be booking my next course soon.
