Sourdough Breads Class
Take a step further into your bread making journey and discover the art of Sourdough breads. We will demonstrate how to start and maintain a sour culture, following which you will use our 14-year-old sour culture to make four varieties of Sourdough.
During the class you will make:
- Our Award-Winning Wheat and Rye Sourdough, made using a rye sour culture.
- A Wheat Sourdough, a more typical white sourdough loaf, made using a white sour culture.
- A Stilton and Raison Loaf, made using a pre fermented dough.
- Our Church Street Sourdough, made using a white sour culture, and containing white, wholemeal and rye flours.
Evening class includes refreshments, a delicious dinner, and a Cinnamon Square bun. Attendees will take home all items they have made and a recipe pack containing information about how to start and preserve a sour culture.
