With five days to go, it’s really time to finalise your food order to make it a ‘cin’sationally delicious Christmas.
Our shop is packed to the rafters this time of year with a variety of traditional bakes and often many with a twist, which is iconic to our innovative approach to baking. Thought it would be nice (and somewhat challenging) to pick my top 5 Christmas specials to share with you.
In reverse order…….
Our multi-award winning Cinnamon Square buns have been given an injection of festivity! Rolled in Christmas spices and topped with a cream cheese brandy sauce. Put one out for Santa and he’ll probably raid your kitchen cupboards to find the rest of the box!
Mince pies have to be shortlisted. Not just for traditional sentiments but because these are too good! We make the mincemeat in advance to allow all the different flavours to enthuse and intensify. These are filled into hand-made almond pastry cases and baked to perfection. Definitely no soggy bottoms and even the big guys at the Great Taste Awards loved them and awarded them a gold star.
Perfect centre piece and delicious dessert.
Definitely unique, and winner of the 2015 Baking Industry Christmas Star award. Lovely gift and even better if you eat it yourself!
He is just the best! Made from ‘Real Bread’ (with no additives) the soft white bread is covered in sage and we’ve even given him ‘wrinkling skin.’ Definitely Free Range and suitable for vegetarians.
